HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Let’s face it! The past two years were trying times, and you might’ve been hesitant to jump into 2022. Heck, you probably tiptoed in instead of jumping. We TOTALLY get it but hope you can still find joy for this new chapter.

Colossians 2:6-7 states, “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”

Rooted. Built up. Strengthened. Overflowing with thankfulness. These are truths to grasp and claim. Let’s claim them this year!

When God calls us to something, let’s live out our faith and not let barriers hold us back. Instead of asking “what ifs,” let’s be strengthened in faith. We can move past the fears.

While goal setting can be good, try not to get bombarded by what you feel obligated to do on a New Year’s resolution list. Instead, get excited about what God has called you to. He has built you up to do those things, and it’s an honor to GET to do them!

God might be calling you to do simple things like taking out an elderly neighbor’s garbage. Be faithful even in those small things. Remember, small things can make a big impact!

We hope you have a wonderful year ahead and pray you find a joyful expectancy that comes from Jesus. He’s our ultimate fresh start and hope! He’s given us a new chapter with 365 blank pages. Let’s fill them with things He has planned for us to do!!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
